Dr Ivanka Ezhova
BSc, MSc, MA, PhD, CPsychol, EuroPsy
Dr Ivanka Ezhova is a Registered Clinical Psychologist. She has 15 years extensive international experience of clinical
practice, multidisciplinary research and education across the United Kingdom, France, and Bulgaria.
She has worked in a number of clinical and academic settings, including specialist Child and Adolescent Mental Health
Services (CAMHS), acute in-patient care, primary and secondary care, and the private sector.
Ivanka worked as a researcher at Centre Antoine Lacassagne and King’s College London in the specialist areas of
Psycho-oncology, Clinical Psychology and Public Health. She delivered teaching and mentoring for undergraduate and
postgraduate students, and PhD candidates.
Dr Ezhova founded Become your own therapist. This is an international project that brings together clinical, research and educational expertise and uses social media to raise awareness around mental health. You will learn how to effectively cope with daily stressors and how to implement changes in an accurate and reflective way. Dr Ezhova’s approach uses validated and evidence-based methodologies, translated into practical techniques everyone can easily understand and integrate into their life. These include but are not limited to Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy, Psychodynamic (Psychoanalytical) Therapy, Compassion-based Therapy, and Family Systemic Therapy.
Ivanka is experienced in working with a variety of issues such as anxiety disorders, OCD, perfectionism, low self-esteem & self-confidence, communication difficulties, cancer & chronic conditions counselling, relationship & family issues, trauma and PTSD.
